Simpson's Family Mortuary began 35 years ago in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California.

Over the years they experienced great success, now operating five mortuaries and a crematorium. The founder, Curtis Simpson, Sr. attributes this legacy to their upstanding reputation and policy of treating each client like family. They strive to go to any length for a families’ needs, never turn anyone away, and continually uphold integrity. Sonya Simpson, COO and daughter of the founder, vouches stories of accommodating budget restraints and in rare situations, giving away a funeral.

Sonya and Curtis chose Security National Life for their preneed three years ago. Since then, their experience has been “professional and easy-going”. Sonya says, “Jenn, the Manager of New Business is so hands-on. She is always available if you need her. You can call her directly and talk about anything. Wendi, Priscilla and Ashley are so helpful issuing new policies. Tia and Susan in Policy Service are wonderful to work with. Renee, our Market Manager, always does her best and is right there for anything needed.”

“Security National Life is wonderful company to do business with. They are caring, honest, professional, and sincere. Their goal is to make sure the client is satisfied.” As a licensed minister and evangelist, Sonya loves helping families. The team at Simpson’s aspires to problem-solve, resolve conflicts, and meet the needs of their families. They see families every day that don’t have enough funds for their service. It makes them feel wonderful to be able to provide low monthly payments for preneed, so that in the future their client’s services may be taken care of.
