SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Security National Life is pleased to announce that Leonardo Lopez-Munoz has been hired as the Market Sales Manager for Southern California. Thomas Nicklas has been hired as the Market Sales Manager for Pennsylvania. Javier Valenzuela has been hired as the Team Sales Leader for El Paso, Texas.
Leonardo Lopez-Munoz is the Market Sales Manager in Southern California for Security National Life Insurance Company. He has been in the funeral profession for over twelve years and has worked for national consolidators as well as family-owned funeral homes in Southern California. He is excited to join his dynamic skills with SNL’s comprehensive preneed experience in order to continue to grow SNL’s footprint in all of Southern California. Leo has varied sales management experience that includes building and managing sales teams, family service-based selling and management, and regional management roles. He also has an extensive background in customer service, business development and event planning. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the Universidad de Concepcion and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Miami and Holy Trinity Catholic University. He resides in Beaumont, CA where he enjoys volunteering for various non-profit organizations, doing missions work and serving his community with his four boys and one daughter. He also enjoys playing competitive basketball and being outdoors as often as possible.
Thomas is the Market Sales Manager in Pennsylvania for Security National Life Insurance Company. He works closely with funeral home owners and managers, creating solutions for growth opportunities, marketing needs, product development, and sales programs. Thomas is a licensed funeral director with 25 years of varied experience in the funeral profession. He is looking forward to assisting funeral homes grow their preneed business by using his extensive experience serving families throughout the entire death care experience in order to introduce the importance of preplanning. Thomas lives in Whitehall, PA with his wife, Tina and their 12-year-old son, Callen. He is an avid cyclist having completed 7-week long rides for the American Cancer Society where he helped to raise over 2 million dollars for cancer research and treatment. He enjoys all sports but especially coaching his son’s youth baseball team. Thomas attended East Stroudsburg University as a business major and Northampton Community College for Mortuary Science.
Javier Valenzuela is the Team Sales Leader in El Paso, Texas for Security National Life Insurance Company. Javier has been serving families in the El Paso area for Security National Life as a bilingual sales agent since 2019 and has already proven himself to be a successful salesperson, recruiter, and sales trainer during this time and is now very excited to help Security National Life continue to impact the El Paso market. He has an extensive background in human resources, operations management, and sales leadership and very much believes in leading by example. Javier, along with his beloved wife Pamela and children, are very active members of their community and church. They are always helping others, and constantly going the extra-mile to extend their hand to anyone in need.
