Abraham Lincoln once said, “If I had six hours to chop down a tree, I would spend the first four hours sharpening the axe.”

It is imperative for a preneed/final expense producer to have consistent business. Of course, this is what every producer wants, but it may not always be the case. The question for you as a producer is–what resources are available to me to increase my workflow?

Lead Hub

Let’s begin with one very intuitive and helpful resource called LeadHub. LeadHub is Security National’s lead management system that is free to our producers. The system is designed so that you may have access to view and keep track of all of your leads. A “lead store” has also been integrated where leads can be added to the cart, purchased, and placed in your portal to work when they return.

This resource is incredibly user-friendly and completely free to Security National Life preneed insurance agents and final expense insurance agents. There is a wealth of tutorials and helpful articles through “Knowledge Hub” which is accessible on your LeadHub dashboard. Did we mention LeadHub is also available in Spanish?

Email Calendar

Next up we have your email calendar. Perhaps you have embedded various meetings or events in the past into this tool but never found yourself using it consistently. Have you ever completely spaced doing something that needed to get done? Maybe it was an important meeting, a friend’s birthday, or even paying a bill. Organizing and keeping track of your time will become the gift in your life that keeps on giving as a producer.

So, open that calendar application you’ve only sporadically used within the past few months. Put in the events you know for certain are approaching and watch how you take control of your life and career as a successful producer. Here is a great article on time management for final expense insurance agents as well as preneed insurance agents.

When sending out a calendar invite be sure to include the time of the meeting, location (virtual call information if there is not a physical location), and a brief description of how that time will be used. This will increase communication and time management between you and your prospect.

Social Media Platforms

Let’s talk social! These platforms include but are not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc. Perhaps you are asking yourself: how could this increase my workflow as a producer? The world we live in is advancing even faster than we can currently comprehend. This includes the way people receive and are affected by information.

You have many individuals who reside within your sphere of influence. These being friends, family, acquaintances, and even those whom you may not know! Take advantage of your presence on social media in an approachable and interesting way. Everyone needs the services you provide, so why not put the word out there and see what could happen? We have created a step-by-step tutorial on how to set-up a Facebook business page for agents as well as how to use it.
