The award was given by the Utah Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). The AMA is one of the largest marketing associations in the United States with over 30,000 members who are involved in all aspects of the marketing field.

Salt Lake City, Utah, June 24, 2013 – Security National Financial Corporation (NASDAQ symbol-SNFCA) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Security National Life Insurance Company, is the recipient of the American Marketing Association’s award for Branding/Rebranding. The award was given by the Utah Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). The AMA is one of the largest marketing associations in the United States with over 30,000 members who are involved in all aspects of the marketing field.

The AMA award was presented to a Utah based company whose marketing campaign had achieved the greatest measurable difference as the result of a new and redesigned marketing program. Security National Life demonstrated an expansion of its past advertising program with the addition of new age pieces which allowed it to position itself to a wider market. Security National Life used this marketing campaign to not only attract new customers but to enhance the company’s internal corporate marketing program, improve external recruiting for new salespeople, and expand its divisions.

Founded in 1965, Security National Life started as a small life insurance company with a few investors and a commitment to provide a quality product. Since that time, Security National Life has grown significantly. Security National Life is a wholly owned subsidiary of Security National Financial Corporation. Other subsidiaries of Security National Financial Corporation include SecurityNational Mortgage Company and Memorial Estates.
