This quote exactly describes how I feel about my new year’s goals round about March. There are times, especially when I’m trying to find new leads or when I’m cold calling, that I feel like what I’m doing isn’t making a difference. It’s helpful to remember that the most important step is the next one.

This quote gives me serious James Clear (Atomic Habits) vibes. It reminds me that my goals require a transformative effort for me to reach them.

I believe in the good that I am doing as a life insurance agent, and I know that my efforts are actually making a difference in individual lives. I need to remember that attitude in every stage of sales—from cold calling to closing.
