Industry Spotlight: Artful Ashes

When your loved one is cremated, there is a whole host of options regarding what you can do with the ashes. You can place them on an urn, bury them, or there are some “unconventional” options as well. Today we’ll be highlighting a company based in Seattle called Artful Ashes where they spin your loved ones ashes into a remarkable glass piece. Take a look at the video below for a closer look into the process.

Only one tablespoon of ash is needed for each orb. The result is a 3 ½ by 3 ½ inches and 14 ounces of solid glass art that’s completely customizable in color and shape. A small inscription can be added to the bottom/back of the orb as well. This is a great way to preserve the memory of your loved one in a remarkable piece of art.

Take a look at some of their completed projects below for some inspiration!
